President Wilf Wilkinson to visit Sri Lanka

Rotary International President Wilf Wilkinson will be in Sri Lanka on Friday May 16th 2008 on the invitation of District Governor Thariq Thulba. A special programme has been arranged to mark the visit which also coincides with the formal closure of the “Schools Re-awaken” Project – the largest ever project undertaken by any single Rotary District worldwide.

There will be an Intercity Meeting at the BMICH at 4.00 p.m. and a formal banquet in the evening.
Rotarians are reminded to keep the date free and be a part of this special day.

Two more schools scheduled for formal opening

Two more schools are scheduled to be ceremonially declared open on Friday 25th April and Saturday 26th April 2008.
