Innerwheel

Roshi joined Inner Wheel Club of Kandy, the 3rd oldest club in Sri Lankan in March 1985. She has held the post of Treasurer, Secretary, Editor on many occasions and the post of President in the years 1992/1993 and
2003/2005. 

At District Level she has served as Conference Chairman, Treasurer, Extension Service Chairman and had the joy of forming the Inner Wheel Club of Kandy Heritage in District 322 in 2009/2010. She was also a member of the organizing committee for the 2nd South Asia Rally in April 2011 where 775 Inner Wheel members gathered for 'Friendship' in Sri Lanka. .

She had her education at Bishop's College, Colombo and is an Associate Member of the Institute off Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, U.K. She is married to Rotarian Shamil. Their daughter Tehani is following in her father's footsteps studying Accountancy. She joined the Interact club of the Good Shepherd Convent Kandy and was its President and presently is a member of the Rotaract Club of Kandy. 

Roshi is a member of the Executive Committee of the Sri Lanka Cancer Society – Kandy Branch, Board member of the Young Women's Christian Association of Kandy (YWCA) and a member of the Paraplegics Association. Apart from all of this she enjoys experimenting with her culinary skills, travelling, collecting scenes of the by-gone days of Ceylon (post cards/ views/ prints) and contemporary Sri Lankan art.

She has selected “Hope for Tomorrow" a project to benefit victims of rape and their children as the Inner Wheel District 322 project for the year 2011/2012 and hopes to encourage participation of all the Inner Wheel Clubs in Sri Lanka.
